Bill Singleton & his wife Margaret where forced to move out of there public house & give up there business after over head power lines caused ill health. They were told that electric fields in there home are more than 100 times the normal reading. Theirs is far from normal they lived directly below 400,000-volt power lines. They have now moved from the pub owned by Bank's Brewery following advice from Alisdair Philips (Power Watch)& Cambridgeshire scientist and after reading many studies from other countries on fields not as high as these read. Whilst the Singletons where living in the pub they both suffered bad health but put it down to the stress of running the pub. They will never know for sure but they are much better since moving out.
